  • Isabelle Phillips – Isabelle Phillips is the founder and Managing Director of Mackerel Sky - Leadership Matters. She has an undergraduate degree in adult education majoring in human resource development, post graduate studies in linguistics and accreditations in a range of psychometric instruments. Isabelle is an experienced and accredited coach and trains coaches around Australia, in New Zealand, Singapore and China. Currently working on her PhD at the UTS Business School, Sydney, Isabelle's research and professional practice are dedicated to bringing the benefits of mindfulness to leaders and their organisations. She has incorporated mindful coaching into her one-on-one sessions and mindful leadership training is one of the many evidence-based tools and techniques available as part of Mackerel Sky's leadership programs.

    Prior to starting Mackerel Sky, Isabelle worked for multi-nationals running HR and Talent Management consulting businesses. Her pro-bono work involves coaching prisoners and she serves on the board of directors for KARI Aboriginal Resources Inc.

  • Lotta Oberg – Lotta has worked in the field of cultural intelligence for 20 years. She has lived and worked in Europe, Asia and Australia. Lotta now coaches and trains leaders to manage Cultural Intelligence. Cultural Intelligence provides an evidence-based framework for delving into the deeper layers of culture. It offers easy-to-understand models that provide practical, real-life assistance to leaders when culture matters in business and community relations.
  • Kylie Burgess-Kime – Kylie started out as a child actor starring in an Oscar winning film. As a teen she co-founded a successful charity that is still doing development work in third world countries today. Her successful career in journalism included working for the BBC World Service in London. She is now a coach and trainer and works in Sydney.
  • Joan Flatt – Joan is an experienced HR practitioner with expertise in learning and development and Equal Employment Opportunity. With her initial tertiary qualification in psychology Joan has built her career in supporting human services organsiations in the areas of organizational policy and procedure, performance improvement, talent management, team development and leadership skills. Joan works as a facilitator and career transition coach for senior executives.
  • Michael Dash – Michael works as a health educator in the NSW Public Health system and brings over 20 years of mindfulness practice to inform his work. He has over fifteen years experience teaching mindfulness based practices to a wide range of professional and private clients in group and individual sessions. Michael’s studies in mindfulness and meditation began in Australia in 1987 and included intensive periods of study in Thailand and Burma. Michael is passionate about bringing the skills and wisdom generated by mindfulness practice to business leaders.
